Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level IT systems including servers, networks, and cybersecurity protocols
- Lead implementation of cloud migration projects and hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans ensuring business continuity
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and conduct system performance audits
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT solutions with strategic objectives
- Ensure compliance with federal IT standards (FISMA, NIST) and VA policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of progressive IT experience in federal or regulated environments
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and incident response procedures
- Professional certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or ITIL) preferred
- Experience with VA-specific systems (Vista, EHR) highly desirable
