Job Summary:
The IT Specialist will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of IT systems. You will ensure the security and reliability of federal networks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Conduct system security assessments and ensure compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal systems.
- Develop and document technical specifications, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers to implement software upgrades and system patches.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Participate in incident response planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or related federal contracting roles.
- Experience with federal IT security clearance processes (Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred).
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal employment.
