Responsibilities
- System Administration: Design, develop, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect federal systems from cyber threats and ensure compliance with NIST standards.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in IT projects, including software upgrades and system migrations, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: At least 2 years of specialized experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or cybersecurity.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash), virtualization technologies (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
