Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex federal network infrastructure and systems.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Enforce federal cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Manage access control systems and secure sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
- Provide technical training and support to junior staff and federal clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- 5+ years of experience in network administration, systems engineering, or IT support within the federal sector.
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment and routing protocols.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations (NIST, FISMA) and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
