Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure including virtualization environments
- Manage network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for critical state applications and databases
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and migrations
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Ensure compliance with Ohio IT security standards and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure management
- Expertise in VMware, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Certified in CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Strong experience with network architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system failures
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) preferred
