Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain city-wide network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, and switches
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive municipal data
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for 500+ government employees
- Oversee cloud migration projects for essential city services
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and testing
- Document IT procedures and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders on technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure management experience
- Certification in CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNA
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure/AWS cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
