Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal IT infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on VA systems
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber threats
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal regulations
- Manage security audits and remediation processes

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal IT security or related field
- CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in risk assessment methodologies and security controls

- Knowledge of FedRAMP and DoD cybersecurity standards
