Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain DoD cybersecurity frameworks including NIST 800-53 and RMF
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified/unclassified systems
- Develop incident response plans and lead cybersecurity incident investigations
- Manage identity and access control systems (e.g., Active Directory, CAC systems)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous security monitoring
- Prepare security compliance documentation and audit reports
- Train personnel on security best practices and emerging threats
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience with DoD cybersecurity systems
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of FISMA compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud security (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8570 compliance
