Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain network security protocols across DOD systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Develop incident response plans and conduct breach simulations
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in network security administration
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Experience with Windows/Linux system hardening
- Knowledge of DOD cybersecurity frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
