Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal IT security protocols including NIST 800-53 standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Manage incident response for security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Oversee network security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and CUI requirements
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of federal IT security experience
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CEH
- Expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Familiarity with FedRAMP and ATO processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
