Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain network security protocols across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor security infrastructure for threats and anomalies
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on security initiatives
- Ensure compliance with NIST and federal security standards
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT security or network administration
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of federal IT security policies (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
