Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across classified networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD systems
- Manage incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber threats
- Oversee security access controls and identity management systems
- Develop security policies and procedures for new system deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal IT security standards (NIST 800-53)
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or equivalent DoD-approved credential
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
