Responsibilities
- Manage, analyze, and troubleshoot complex IT hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive federal data and information systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy innovative IT solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and maintenance to ensure compliance with federal standards and regulations.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level (e.g., analyzing, developing, designing, installing, maintaining, and operating hardware/software systems).
- Experience with federal information systems security and compliance is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Eligibility for federal employment, including the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- 10-point preference eligibility is a plus but not mandatory.
