Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's data and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical assistance and training to staff regarding computer systems, software, and applications.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT policies and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional IT experience in network administration or system support.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Security+ or Network+ certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
