Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise IT systems including servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct risk assessments to protect sensitive veteran data
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VA applications and systems
- Collaborate on IT projects including system upgrades and migrations
- Ensure compliance with federal IT policies including NIST and FISMA standards
- Document system configurations and maintenance procedures
- Monitor system performance and optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity
- Professional certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management
