Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for city-wide hardware and software systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Coordinate system upgrades and migrations while minimizing service disruption
- Document IT procedures and create training materials for staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital transformation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal and state IT regulations (FISMA, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid California driver's license
