Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity defense systems for federal networks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on classified systems
- Lead incident response operations during security breaches
- Develop security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals and conduct training workshops
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and other federal agencies on threat intelligence
- Manage cloud security architectures for hybrid federal IT environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security operations
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification with CEH preferred
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security frameworks and FedRAMP compliance
- Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection platforms
- Demonstrated experience with zero-trust network architectures
