Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols for federal IT systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across networks
- Respond to security incidents, analyze threats, and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal security standards
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for staff

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of professional cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with federal security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
