Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and security audits to protect federal information systems.
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols in accordance with FedRAMP standards.
- Respond to and remediate cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner, following NIST guidelines.
- Develop, document, and update cybersecurity policies and procedures for the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure compliance and operational continuity.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff regarding security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within 2 years.
- At least 5 years of specialized experience in cybersecurity, network defense, or information assurance.
- Experience working with federal IT systems and understanding of FISMA requirements.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
