Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures for federal clients.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Enforce compliance with federal regulations such as FISMA, NIST, and DISA STIGs.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
- Document security configurations and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCFA.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT or cybersecurity roles.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
