Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of federal computer systems and peripherals.
- Document technical incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in accordance with federal compliance standards.
- Conduct routine system audits to ensure data security and integrity are maintained.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to upgrade legacy systems and optimize IT infrastructure.
- Train colleagues and new hires on standard office technology and security protocols.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts to prevent service interruptions.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Background Investigation: Willingness to undergo a background investigation and drug screening as required for federal positions.
