Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize VA's electronic health record systems (VistA)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols per NIST standards
- Support telehealth infrastructure for remote veteran care
- Coordinate with IT teams on system upgrades and compliance
- Train staff on new technologies and security protocols
- Monitor system performance and resolve incidents
- Document IT processes and maintain audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in VistA EHR systems
- Experience with HIPAA and FISMA compliance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 3 clearance
