Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT systems including EHR (Electronic Health Records) platforms
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for 500+ VA employees across 15+ departments
- Implement cybersecurity protocols compliant with FedRAMP standards
- Coordinate system upgrades and migrations during maintenance windows
- Document SOPs and train staff on new technologies
- Collaborate with regional IT leadership on strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal position)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware
- Familiarity with VA-specific systems (VistA, Cerner) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
