Responsibilities
- Manage and secure enterprise networks and systems in a federal environment
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and incident response procedures
- Lead IT infrastructure modernization projects using cloud technologies
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on compliance standards
- Collaborate with federal agencies on interoperable IT solutions
- Document system architectures and maintain security documentation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Mentor junior IT staff on federal IT best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with federal systems
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps tools
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
