Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for federal users across the organization.
- Network Administration: Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure optimal performance and connectivity.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with NIST standards and federal security regulations.
- System Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade server hardware and software, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches and system outages.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for federal staff on new technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration within a federal or government environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities under pressure.
