Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain complex federal IT networks, servers, and hardware infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with FISMA and FedRAMP standards.
- Conduct system troubleshooting, performance analysis, and software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT solutions that support organizational goals and mission objectives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and incident reports.
- Provide technical support and training to federal staff regarding IT systems and security best practices.
- Manage project lifecycles for IT implementation and system migrations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Federal Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and specialized experience (typically 4 years).
- Experience with Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing/firewall management.
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP are highly preferred.
