Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal government networks, hardware, and software systems during weekend operations.
- Monitor federal database systems for anomalies and perform routine maintenance to ensure high availability.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of secure enterprise solutions compliant with OMB and DHS standards.
- Document system errors, resolutions, and security incidents in the IT Service Management database.
- Collaborate with federal supervisors to prioritize critical system repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular compliance audits of system logs and user access rights.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment in compliance with federal safety protocols.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship required for federal contract eligibility.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to pass a background investigation.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting federal, state, or local government IT environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal IT security tools (e.g., VA, DOD standards).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently during off-hours.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
