Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure federal network systems supporting border security operations
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for critical homeland security applications
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on IT modernization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal IT standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and system backup procedures
- Train junior staff on federal IT policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory management
- Familiarity with FedRAMP and CUI handling procedures
- Secret security clearance (required at hire)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
