Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize city network infrastructure including servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity systems
- Provide technical support to 500+ municipal employees across 20+ departments
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans with 99.9% uptime requirements
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with federal/state data security regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Lead technology training sessions for non-technical staff
- Document IT policies and procedures using ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years enterprise IT infrastructure management experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in Windows Server, Azure cloud, and Cisco networking
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management tools
- Strong analytical skills for system troubleshooting and optimization
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
