Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise-level cybersecurity strategies for city networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Manage incident response protocols and security awareness training
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and CALEMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Monitor threat intelligence and emerging cyber risks
- Document security policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in IT security with government/public sector
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in risk assessment frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong knowledge of network security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
