Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain government IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Provide technical support to city departments and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and digital transformation projects
- Document IT processes and create user training materials
- Ensure compliance with federal and state IT regulations
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or enterprise IT environments
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST/FISMA)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Experience with IT service management tools (ServiceNow/Jira)
