Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise-level cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols
- Develop and maintain secure database systems for critical natural resource data
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on IT modernization initiatives
- Provide technical guidance on compliance with federal IT standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and system resilience testing
- Analyze emerging technologies for potential adoption in federal operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 credential
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and DevOps methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex technical requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
