Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems
- Conduct risk assessments and implement security protocols for federal networks
- Lead incident response activities during cybersecurity breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Provide technical guidance to junior IT staff and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT security experience
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Experience with federal IT security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, SIEM systems)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
