Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols and incident response for VA healthcare data systems
- Coordinate technology deployments across clinical and administrative departments
- Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure system continuity compliance
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on IT best practices
- Conduct system audits and implement security enhancements
- Collaborate with external vendors on technology integrations and upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- Federal IT security certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Experience with healthcare IT systems (e.g., VistA, Epic) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
