Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure including cloud systems, network operations, and data centers
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive healthcare data and comply with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Lead system integration projects for HHS's healthcare information systems and public health platforms
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and incident response for mission-critical applications
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on federal IT modernization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT systems administration or cybersecurity
- Active Security+ CE certification and/or CISSP/CSSLP preferred
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and enterprise network management
- Knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
