Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cybersecurity systems to protect sensitive federal data
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across multiple platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and develop remediation strategies
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on IT best practices
- Ensure all systems comply with federal security protocols (NIST/FISMA)
- Lead incident response procedures during cybersecurity events
- Collaborate with senior leadership on IT modernization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Demonstrated experience with risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
