Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure enterprise systems including cloud infrastructure and network security protocols
- Lead IT project implementations ensuring compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, HIPAA)
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on system integration and cybersecurity best practices
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular vulnerability assessments
- Manage vendor relationships and contract compliance for IT service providers
- Train staff on new technologies and security protocols
- Analyze system performance metrics to optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal IT systems and compliance requirements
- Professional certification in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and written communication abilities
