Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize agency-wide cybersecurity systems and protocols
- Lead enterprise software implementation and integration projects
- Provide technical guidance on cloud migration strategies
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align IT solutions with business objectives
- Maintain compliance with federal IT security standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Supervise junior IT staff and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience in federal/government sector
- Active Security+ CE certification (or equivalent)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and enterprise networks
- Demonstrated project management experience (PMP preferred)
- Knowledge of VA IT infrastructure and healthcare systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
