Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize electronic health record systems (EHR) across multiple VA facilities
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Lead IT infrastructure upgrades including server virtualization and cloud migrations
- Provide technical support for telehealth initiatives serving rural veterans
- Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on system integrations
- Mentor junior IT staff and document technical procedures
