Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize IT infrastructure supporting veteran healthcare systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols compliant with federal standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Develop custom software solutions for VA-specific workflows
- Lead cross-agency IT modernization projects
- Provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders
- Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal IT systems (GS-11 equivalent)
- Active Security+ CE certification
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and DevOps
- Knowledge of HIPAA and VA-specific regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
