Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure cloud-based applications using AWS/Azure
- Lead system integration projects for SSA's core infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including NIST 800-53 compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agile development cycles
- Provide technical guidance on database management (Oracle/SQL)
- Conduct system performance optimization and troubleshooting
- Document technical specifications and create user training materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with federal IT systems (preferred)
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and modern web frameworks
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of federal IT security standards (FISMA, FedRAMP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
