Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions for classified and unclassified systems
- Lead cloud migration projects using AWS and Azure platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD networks
- Manage IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and virtualization environments
- Develop and document security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with 3+ years in cybersecurity
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and automation tools
- Experience with DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) process
- Secret security clearance eligibility (must obtain within 6 months)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
