Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure systems for VA healthcare facilities
- Provide technical support for enterprise-level applications and network operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex system issues
- Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Conduct system testing and documentation for compliance with federal standards
- Train staff on new technologies and system upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity
- Active Security+ CE certification
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of federal IT security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
