Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including network infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide technical support to federal agencies across multiple jurisdictions
- Develop and document system security procedures and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT modernization projects
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ensure all systems comply with federal security standards (FISMA, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and network security tools
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
