Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise-level IT systems including servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Provide technical support to healthcare staff for electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Coordinate system upgrades and migrations while maintaining operational continuity
- Develop documentation for IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with clinical needs
- Monitor system performance and proactively address technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of specialized IT experience for GS-9 level (higher for GS-11/GS-12)
- Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Experience with Windows Server administration and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with federal IT security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
