Responsibilities
- Implement and manage the agency's Information Security Program in accordance with NIST and Federal regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk management activities.
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security appliances.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time to mitigate threats.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff on security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with OMB Circular A-123 and other applicable federal mandates.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with favorable adjudication.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, risk management, or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with federal information systems security architectures and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
