Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure) for large-scale IT initiatives.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and government stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to executive leadership and steering committees.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract performance for third-party IT services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) or CAPM certification is required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within a government or public sector environment.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, software development, or enterprise systems.
- Expert proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and other PM collaboration tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
