Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), ensuring high availability and performance for city departments.
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems for government employees and public access terminals.

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support and documentation for IT service requests and incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration or IT support within a large organization.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are strongly preferred.
