Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise-level IT systems including cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols
- Coordinate cross-agency technology initiatives supporting federal operations in the Southeast region
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans ensuring 99.9% system uptime
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments for federal networks
- Mentor junior IT staff and develop training programs for agency-wide technology adoption
- Collaborate with OMB and DHS on compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Lead digital transformation projects modernizing legacy federal systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with federal IT systems (GS-12 equivalent)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and federal compliance frameworks
- Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL, or PMP) preferred
- Demonstrated project management experience with budgets exceeding $500K
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex technical requirements
