Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive federal data and systems from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular system audits, backups, and maintenance to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IT solutions that meet federal compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in network administration, systems engineering, or IT support.
- Familiarity with federal IT security regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
